Palm Beach County Schools
W hen moving to a new area, one of the main concerns of parents is that their children will be in a good position to receive top quality education.

I n the Palm Beach County School System, there are about 168,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade, along with adult and vocational education students benefiting the school district's commitment to excellence in education. In Florida, Palm Beach County School District is the 4th largest and the 14th largest in the nation.

Palm Beach County Schools satisfy, but most exceed, the requirements established by the state's Department of Education. Furthermore, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has given accreditation to all of the senior high schools. Close to 40 percent of the teachers have advanced degrees.

Palm Beach County Schools offer special programs for gifted and advanced students as well as programs that support children with specialized interests. Palm Beach County students can enroll in elementary, middle and high school magnet programs providing classes that focus in a particular field in which the child is interested: medicine, fine arts, science and technology, mathematics, aerospace, and international studies.
