As Honorary Club Chairman of Old Palm Golf Club, Raymond Floyd is much more than the golf course designer. He is intimately involved in ensuring all aspects of Old Palm will be synonymous with the finest golf clubs and courses around the world.
Old Palm will be known as Raymond Floyd's home course and is planned to serve as a residence for his family.
Raymond Floyd's credentials as a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame are well known. His career includes 62 tournament victories and winnings exceeding $17 million worldwide. Included in his list of accomplishments are: fourth youngest player to win on the PGA Tour (at age 20); oldest player, at that time, to win the U.S. Open (at age 43); winner of all three American major championships; only player to win on both the PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour in the same year (1992); member of eight Ryder Cup teams and Captain of the 1989 Ryder Cup team.
